HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO OBUDU MOUNTAIN RESORT? - AMDO

The Obudu Cattle Ranch now known as Obudu Mountain Resort is located on the Obudu plateau close to the Cameroon border in the north-eastern part of Cross River State of Nigeria, approximately 110 km east of town from Ogoja and 65km from the town of Obudu in Obanliku Local Government Area of Cross River State.  It is about 30 minutes drive from Obudu town and about 332 km drive from Calabar, the Cross River State capital.  Charter air services are available to the Bebi Airport which lies between the village of Obudu and the Resort.  The Cross River State Government has creatively transformed the ranch into one of the well known Holiday and Tourist Resort Centers in Nigeria.  There is a cable car from the base to the top of the plateau to give visitors a scenic view while bypassing the extremely winding road to the top.

If you are looking for a place to experience nature at its peak, then look no further because Obudu Mountain Resort is the definition of nature!. The nature view is about 600 and there are lots of fun-filled activities to enjoy but some may attract some token. To make your visit their more interesting, I suggest you go with few friends( like I did) or your family and if you are thinking of where to spend your honey moon in Nigeria, this is a nice place to be.  Lodges are available but the type you stay will depend on your budget. There are also different restaurants as well where you can have whatever kind of basic dish you require( I love food, so that was my first stop).
